My Thoughts:
Let me start off by saying that the Paranormalcy series has been a blast to read.  Just looking at the covers, I knew that I would somehow love the books one way or another.  I loved getting to know all about Evie and her insecurities and falling for Lend.  It has been a fun series with plenty of ups and downs for the characters, and once I finished reading Endlessly, I knew that the story and all of its characters were done justice.

Evie is one of the most alive characters I've ever read.  Even though she strived for some type of normalcy, never once did she ever doubt the decisions she made.  Sure, she had the entire race of supernaturals on her hands and a whole lot of stress that no person should never be put through, but never once did she give up and her determination for both a normal life and also a safe life was admirable.  And it was such a great experience as a write to see how much Evie's matured throughout the entire series.  I know I've put in reviews for the other books that I found her annoying and naive, but I can't even complain about that now.  She became such a strong character and I enjoyed being in her head throughout the series.

Things were a lot heavier than I expected them to be in this book.  It was deep.  The situation was a lot worse than I thought it'd be.  First of all, the Dark Faerie Queen?  I would not want to mess with that mama.  I didn't think that she was Queen Mab from the Iron Fey Series evil, but the DFQ had her own air of evilness.  And don't even get me started on the new director to IPCA.  Oh, how she got on my nerves!  You bad lady! 

And I might as well say this: Jack is back! *happy dance*

And is it possible that I cared enough for all of the characters that I had the FEELS?  The answer is: Yes!  It is possible!  They weren't like "AWWWWW, somebody hold me!  I have the FEELS!!" but it was more like a "Oh, how my heart flutters and my eyes get all misty!".  Those kind of Feels.

Endlessly had the right amount of spunk and fierceness that I could only describe as a work of White.  It was highly entertaining and the story was an original idea inspired by all the things that go bump in the night.  Endlessly was the perfect end to a series.  Be prepared to see a different side of Evie and all the paranormals and see a whole different kind of evil.  For those that love a book with the perfect balance of light and dark and paranormal influences, the Paranormalcy series is something I'd be putting on your TBR list.

My Thoughts:
I really enjoyed White's humorous writing.  I always catch myself smiling and even laughing out loud as I read her books.  The characters (mostly) are very likable and I can't help but care for the well being of Evie, Lend, and others.  All of the characters so far have grown gradually, and it's a learning process for everyone, including the reader.  Plus--oh, boy!--do I love the plot twists!

Evie annoyed me occasionally throughout Paranormalcy with her blind optimism and naivete.  Even though these are great characteristics in people, I wouldn't want to have them, so it was a little unnerving to read about.  Maybe this is because I'm just Miss. Grumpy Pants?  Maybe I'm cynical?  Whatever the reason, I sometimes have a hard time relating to Evie.  However, Evie didn't bother me as much as she did in the first book.  Also, she wasn't perfect.  She made mistakes countless of times throughout the books, but she learned from them and found a way to get over it.  She had such great and passionate determination to make things better for everyone that she sometimes forgot about caring for herself, and I loved that!

Enter Jack.  Holy musical Batman, I loved him! Right from the very beginning, I loved his playful banter with Evie and his . . . unconventional . . . idiosyncrasies.  I'm not going to spoil much about him because I don't want to ruin it for you if you've not read the book yet.  I'm still Team Lend--always will be--but Jack was the highlight of the book, brightening up each page he was on.  He was such an interesting and dynamic character that always kept me guessing.  Oh, and he made me laugh sooo many times! He was great!

I feel that in Paranormalcy there wasn't much mystery to it.  Yeah, sure.  IPCA isn't what we all thought it was, but in Supernaturally, these itty-bitty, teensy-weensy slivers of answers are given, so that means there are questions to be asked, which then means there are unknown things lurking about, which means I have no I idea how this is going to end up.  Supernaturally definitely kept me interested all the way through.

Things get interesting in this book, and by the end, there are more questions to be asked than answers given.  And I liked that!  All this information wasn't just dumped on me, but in these tiny little hints that kept me guessing and guessing.  Reth wasn't as troublesome as he was in the first book, but he certainly makes his presence known throughout the book, and I feel that the Paranormalcy Trilogy wouldn't be complete without him.

I really enjoy White's take on paranormals, and if you're interested in this kind of genre, I suggest you read it.  Readers are given a funny, action-filled book full with plenty of adventure and detective work.  The only thing I wish, though, is that I should have picked this series up earlier.  (Must I mention her pink taser for further confirmation of a great series?)

The Synopsis:

Sure, her best friend is a mermaid, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she's falling for a shape-shifter, and she's the only person who can see through paranormals' glamours, but still. Normal.
Only now paranormals are dying, and Evie's dreams are filled with haunting voices and mysterious prophecies. She soon realizes that there may be a link between her abilities and the sudden rash of deaths. Not only that, but she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.

My Thoughts:
I heard about this book a while ago and have been meaning to read it, but Other Books kind of got in the way of it.  So, there went Paranormalcy all the way to the back of my brain until I picked it up at my local library.  The one thing that had me really curious about this book is the fact the the MC, Evie, wields a pink taser that she named Tasey.  There's also the fact that she works for this agency that tags a bunch of paranormals so that they don't do anything illegal, like drink peoples' blood.  Easy peasy.  So overall, you could see the natural appeal it had to me.
Evie is probably one of the most ignorant characters I've read about, and that's in the best way possible.  Her ignorance wasn't exactly annoying, but it could become tedious at times.  It didn't bother me much because I learned things along with Evie, but I did think that it was a tad overdone.  Though, if I want to contradict myself further, I could also say that it also made Evie the character that she is.  She's very pure in a sense that she hasn't been exposed to the true and harsh dangers the world has to offer.  I liked her for that, but then yet again it got on my nerves, but not by much.
The idea I thought was very original.  I cannot come up with any other book that has this idea.  Originally, she's an unmoving and loyal member of IPCA, but when Things Happen (A.K.A a nearly invisible hottie who goes by the name of Lend) she's not so sure who she should trust or what to do.
Let me just say that I really enjoyed the writing of this book.  There's a lot of sarcasm and humor which had me giggling at many points in the story.  The romance was pure sweetness and completely adorable and had me squealing like a little girl on the inside.  Evie's voice, I feel, sticks out than most others from other books I've read, and I certainly liked that.
Overall, I gave this lovely book four out of five stars.  It was a highly entertaining read that I read pretty quickly.  I enjoyed it and look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series.  It's definitely a book I would recommend for those who love reading about vamps and weres and faeries, really evil faeries.  Hinty hint.
