Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where bloggers like me get the chance to share what makes their hands get all grabby.
In the sequel to the acclaimed The Girl of Fire and Thorns, a seventeen-year-old princess turned war queen faces sorcery, adventure, untold power, and romance as she fulfills her epic destiny.
Elisa is the hero of her country. She led her people to victory against a terrifying enemy, and now she is their queen. But she is only seventeen years old. Her rivals may have simply retreated, choosing stealth over battle. And no one within her court trusts her-except Hector, the commander of the royal guard, and her companions. As the country begins to crumble beneath her and her enemies emerge from the shadows, Elisa will take another journey. With a one-eyed warrior, a loyal friend, an enemy defector, and the man she is falling in love with, Elisa crosses the ocean in search of the perilous, uncharted, and mythical source of the Godstone's power. That is not all she finds. A breathtaking, romantic, and dangerous second volume in the Fire and Thorns trilogy.

And have you seen this cover? Absolutely gorgeous! And if you have not read The Girl of Fire and Thorns, the first book in the sequel, I suggest you do.
So what are all of you waiting for?
I will have to add the Girl of Fire and Thorns to my 'tbr" list.

The Girl of Fire and Thorns looks like my type of book! So I'm pretty surprised that I haven't gotten around to reading it yet! I've only heard awesome things about it! Anyways, that's really neat that you are part of an ARC tour. I'm thinking about joining those- but I want to be comfortable with school first, before I make a commitment to an ARC tour. =)
ReplyDeleteFabulous pick! <3
Great pick! Haven't heard of it before, but it sounds very interesting! :)
ReplyDeleteMy WoW!
Eep I still have to read the first one of this series it sounds so good!
ReplyDeleteGreat pick! Happy you enjoyed this one so much your waiting for the finished copy. I still really need to read the first book. I hear it's amazing and I hopefully can find time to read it soon!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read either book yet, but I may have to give them a try! I'm the same way with ARCs and finished copies. If I enjoy a book, then I always buy the finished copy, and I am still, for some reason (even though I've already read it), impatient to get that finished copy, haha.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! :D
